The event seeks to foster interdisciplinary collaborations, address the latest technological challenges and advances, and drive the development of innovative solutions for medical and dental health by discussing cutting-edge topics such as: Additive manufacturing (with an emphasis on bioprinting), Biomaterials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, Bioimaging and biosensors, Functionalization of biomaterials: Surface and interface, Controlled release systems for bioactive molecules, Legal, ethical and regulatory aspects, Modeling and simulation, Artificial organs and tissues, In vivo and clinical trials; New technologies, including artificial intelligence, organs-on-a-chip and alternative methods to the use of animals.
It also aims to strengthen interaction between academia and the productive and regulatory sectors, as well as stimulate the growth of scientific research in Latin America.
